Subconscious Surgery™ is a trademark describing a coaching methodology. Despite the name, nothing we do is surgery, medicine, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, or any form of clinical treatment. Adrian Taffinder is a coach; he is not a physician, surgeon, psychologist, psychiatrist, or licensed healthcare professional. Nothing in the programme — sessions, recordings, workbooks, community discussion, or marketing — is medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and none of it has been evaluated by any medical regulator.

The programme is not a substitute for professional care. Never delay seeking medical advice, disregard professional advice, or stop or change any medication or treatment because of anything encountered in this programme. We will never advise you to do so; if you believe anyone associated with the programme has, report it to us immediately.

This work involves looking directly at beliefs, memories, and emotional patterns. For most people that is challenging in a productive way. It is not appropriate for everyone. In line with the practice of comparable programmes, we ask you not to enrol if, currently: you are in an acute mental-health crisis; you are experiencing psychosis, mania, or severe depression; you have active suicidal ideation; you are in the first months of recovery from a major psychiatric hospitalisation; or your treating professional advises that introspective belief-work is not right for you now. If any of this becomes true during your membership, tell us — pausing is free and carries no penalty (see Client Services Agreement cl.7.2).

Crisis resources. The programme and community are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis: contact your doctor, local emergency services, or (UK) Samaritans 116 123 / (US) 988 / (elsewhere) findahelpline.com.

Guidance is suggestion. Everything Adrian offers — in sessions, recordings, workbooks, and the community — is offered on a suggestion basis, drawing on psychological and consciousness-based practices and his own experience. Nothing is an instruction, and nothing is professional advice. You are a sovereign being: whether you take any piece of guidance is your choice alone, and your decisions — and their consequences — belong to you. (This never limits the legal responsibilities we cannot limit by law, and we will never suggest changing medication or treatment.)

Muscle testing. Muscle testing (applied kinesiology) as used and taught in this programme is a subjective, explorative self-inquiry tool. It is not a diagnostic instrument and its outputs are not facts. Do not use muscle-testing results — yours or anyone’s — to make medical, financial, legal, or safety-critical decisions. Testing is also question-dependent by nature: a session explores the questions actually asked, with the information actually shared. A question that isn’t asked is a factor that isn’t tested — testing cannot surface or rule out sensitivities that weren’t raised, and it does not predict the unpredictable. Bring what you know: the fuller the picture you share, the more useful the session.

Results. Testimonials and case stories describe individual experiences. They are not typical-outcome claims and no particular result is promised or guaranteed. Your outcomes depend substantially on your own engagement and circumstances.

The Enrolment Declaration

This is the declaration every member confirms at enrolment:

I confirm that:

  1. I am 18 or older, and I am enrolling for myself.
  2. I have read the Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer and understand this is coaching, not medical or psychological care, and that no outcome is guaranteed.
  3. I am not currently in an acute mental-health crisis, experiencing psychosis or mania, or actively suicidal; and no treating professional has advised me against undertaking introspective belief-change work at this time.
  4. [1:1 engagements only] I have disclosed to Subconscious Surgery any current treatment for a serious psychiatric condition that is relevant to intensive 1:1 belief-work, and I agree to keep my own treating professionals informed of my participation as I judge appropriate.
  5. I understand that all guidance in the programme is offered on a suggestion basis, drawing on psychological and consciousness-based practices and Adrian’s experience; I decide freely whether to act on any of it, and I accept full responsibility for my life decisions and choices and their outcomes.
  6. I understand that testing feedback explores the questions actually asked and the information I actually share in a session; that factors not raised are not tested and cannot be predicted; and that I share responsibility for surfacing context and sensitivities I know or suspect may be relevant.
  7. I remain responsible for my own medical and mental-health care throughout, and I agree to tell Subconscious Surgery if my circumstances change materially in a way covered by point 3.
  8. I agree that if Subconscious Surgery reasonably believes the programme is not right for my wellbeing, participation may be paused or ended as described in the Client Services Agreement (cl.7.2), with unused prepaid amounts refunded pro-rata.
  9. I will not make medical, financial, legal, or safety-critical decisions based on muscle-testing outputs.
  10. Optional consent:I explicitly consent to Subconscious Surgery processing the health and wellbeing information I choose to share in sessions and community spaces, for the purpose of delivering the programme to me. I can withdraw this consent at any time (withdrawal stops future processing; it doesn’t undo the past).
