Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance
By using this website and submitting an application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or apply.
2. Scope of service
Subconscious Surgery™ offers private advisory, programmes, and mastermind engagements delivered remotely. Services are offered by personal arrangement following an application and consultation call. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
3. The retainer model and your hours
Each 1:1 package is a block of Adrian’s time on retainer, used however and whenever serves you across the engagement — full sessions, shorter calls, voice-note exchanges, or quick on-demand check-ins. It is not a fixed number of pre-booked sessions. A standard session runs around an hour, but a ten-minute call draws ten minutes from the block; a short voice note from you plus a short reply draws only the minutes used. The published tier hours (Entry 6, Foundation 12, Transformation 26, Yearlong 60, Sovereign 150) are the total time available across the engagement. The Sovereign tier provides 150 hours across the year — a substantial saving on the per-hour rate; what its premium buys above the hours themselves is availability and response priority, not an unlimited or open-ended claim on Adrian’s time.
4. Response times and availability
Each tier carries a target window within which Adrian aims to reply to your messages and voice notes during normal operating availability:
- Entry Intensive — within 48 hours
- Foundation — within 24 hours
- Transformation — within 12 hours
- Yearlong — within 8 hours
- Sovereign — usually within the hour
These are good-faith targets, not guarantees of constant reachability. Adrian works across time zones and travels frequently. He reserves the right not to respond within these windows when he is genuinely unable to — for example while in meetings where communication devices are not permitted, while travelling or in flight, while sleeping, or when otherwise offline or without connectivity. Where Adrian is simply not on the internet or is away, these response windows are paused for that period and resume when he is reachable again.
Pre-arranged out-of-hours support. For Yearlong and Sovereign clients in particular, if you need support at a specific time that falls outside Adrian’s normal working hours, arrange it in advance. Where he does not have a fixed, unchangeable commitment at that time (such as a booked flight), he will do his best to work around your timing.
5. In-person work, travel, and the annual experience
Hours are delivered remotely by default — primarily by voice over WhatsApp.
In-person meetings and travel (Yearlong and Sovereign). If you would like Adrian to meet you in person, or to travel to you, this can be arranged by agreement. You cover his travel, accommodation, and any associated costs. Time spent together in person can be offset against your retainer hours by prior arrangement.
The annual in-person experience (Sovereign; available to Yearlong by arrangement). This is not a conventional hosted retreat. In practice you arrange and pay for your own travel, accommodation, food, and trip costs — effectively arranging your own excursion to Bali, or to whichever country Adrian happens to be in at the time. Adrian then allocates a dedicated portion of focused one-to-one time during your stay and, beyond that one-to-one time, helps curate your experience — its sacred sites, its most beautiful places, a deeper encounter with the location. His time is included; everything else is at your own cost. Subject to availability, arrangement, and these terms.
6. Mastermind memberships
The retainer model above (§§3–5) describes 1:1 engagements. The Mastermind is a separate product, governed by the Client Services Agreement. In short: one product, two ways to pay — $997 once for immediate full access, or $99/month with no minimum term. Both doors give the same full 52-week curriculum, workbook library, community, and monthly live group call; neither includes any bundled 1:1 sessions. A limited number of sponsored places are available by application only. Full detail is in the Client Services Agreement and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Not medical or psychological treatment
“Subconscious Surgery” is a trademark describing a coaching methodology; it is not surgery, medicine, psychotherapy, or any clinical procedure. Subconscious Surgery™ is a consciousness advisory practice. It is not a medical, psychiatric, or psychological service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or an acute psychiatric condition, please contact your doctor or emergency services. Adrian is not a licensed physician, psychologist, or psychiatrist, and nothing on this website should be interpreted as medical advice. Full detail, including who this work is not appropriate for and the enrolment declaration, is at Health & Wellbeing.
Muscle testing.Where sessions include muscle testing (applied kinesiology), the output is a subjective, explorative self-inquiry tool, not a diagnostic instrument or measurement — do not use it to make medical, financial, legal, or safety-critical decisions. Testing is also question-dependent by nature: a session explores the questions actually asked, with the information actually shared. A question that isn’t asked is a factor that isn’t tested — testing cannot surface or rule out sensitivities that weren’t raised, and it does not predict the unpredictable.
8. Your responsibility
Results depend on your engagement with the work. Results vary; testimonial outcomes are individual experiences and should not be read as what a typical member experiences. You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and wellbeing during and after an engagement.
All guidance offered through Subconscious Surgery — in sessions, materials, or community — is offered on a suggestion basis, drawing on psychological and consciousness-based practices and Adrian’s own experience. It is offered for your consideration, not as instruction or professional advice. Whether you act on it is your choice alone, and you accept full responsibility for your life decisions, your choices, and their outcomes. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Fees and refunds
Purchases are governed by the Client Services Agreement accepted at checkout and the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which includes your 14-day statutory cancellation right and the model cancellation form.
10. Intellectual property
The trademark “Subconscious Surgery”, the methodology, written materials, recordings, and brand assets are the intellectual property of Adrian Taffinder. Materials provided to clients are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only, for the duration of your access.
You may not: share, resell, republish, or repost materials; share login credentials (access is monitored and sharing may end your membership); use the materials, reproduced or adapted, in any coaching, therapy, teaching, workshop, consulting, or similar activity for others; or train or purport to certify anyone in the methodology. Telling people about your own results is always fine.
11. Website content
Content on this site is provided for information only and may be updated without notice. While every effort is made to keep it accurate, no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose is given.
12. Community and recordings
Community spaces and group calls are governed by the Community Guidelines & Confidentiality Code (part of the Client Services Agreement): what is shared in the container stays in the container, indefinitely, worldwide. Group calls may be recorded for delivery and archival; where a recording containing your identifiable contribution would be used in the curriculum or publicly, we ask for your written release first — otherwise your contributions are edited out or anonymised. Testimonials are governed by the Testimonial & Media Release only; a thank-you message is not consent to publish.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury (including any impairment of physical or mental condition) caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above: to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, loss of profit, or business losses arising from use of this website or application of anything read here (services are supplied for personal use). Our total liability arising in any contract year is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer you also keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live.
If you live in the UK, EU, or anywhere outside the US: disputes go first to good-faith negotiation (30 days), then optional mediation, then the courts. You can always use the courts of the country where you live; we may bring proceedings there too.
If you live in the US: any dispute is resolved by binding individual arbitration under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules (videoconference or your home state; we pay the fees beyond your filing fee), and both of us waive class or representative proceedings. Small-claims court remains available for qualifying claims. You may opt out of this arbitration clause within 30 days of purchase by emailing the address below with “arbitration opt-out”; opting out does not affect anything else.
